People, they're nice.

Follow their lead

Welcome to
Lee & Nightingale

Businesses succeed or fail on the strength of their people. Quite a sobering thought for a company that’s trusted to source the right employees for over 100 clients across the public and private sectors. Then again, if we weren’t the best at what we do, the likes of Typhoo, TJ Hughes and the MoD would probably have chosen somebody else to handle their recruitment and retention issues by now.

Here’s a site full of reasons why you should follow their lead.

Recruitment microsites

The purpose of recruitment is to bring the required skills into the organisation in the form of people who fit your culture and are eager to perform. This has the maximum effect if the team environment they enter is positive and the minimum is spent getting them there.

To get you the professionals you need, we use techniques called signposting and microsites. Signposts are compact, creative adverts placed in targeted media, which drive job seekers to a microsite containing information designed to engage potential candidates. This can all be produced in the same timescales as traditional press advertising, but is far more efficient.

Signposts and microsites are an improvement over traditional advertising, because there are almost no space limitations. This is an important consideration, because in order to attract people with the appropriate skills, you need to make clear the requirements for the role and what its goals are. For a skilled or challenging role, this can be quite a large list and would make for a very large, expensive press advert. However, cost is not the only important factor - the quality of the candidates is crucial. Through the principles of self-selection, microsites are extremely powerful in generating candidates that have the best fit to your organisation.

Lee & Nightingale help Warrington Borough Council achieve a 70% saving

Having met or exceeded every target laid down to us by Warrington Borough Council since we started working for them back in January 2007, Lee & Nightingale is proud to report that our expertise has helped to slash the organisation's recruitment advertising spend by an amazing 70%! Far from skimping on the quality of service we offer, these figures have been achieved in concert with a number of measures designed to improve the recruitment process for all concerned. One particular area of the Lee & Nightingale service singled out for particular praise is our creative product, which has been given a 100% approval rating from all sectors of the council who have had cause to use it.

northwestjobs.co.uk

The site's functionality has been further enhanced with the introduction of two great new features. The Job Basket function allows multiple jobs to be selected and applied for at the same time, meaning that users need only input their details once instead of retyping them for every application they make. We've also set up Jobs by Email, which sends out weekly notifications of relevant vacancies direct to appropriate users.
