Meet our people.

Meet the team

There’s a simple test you can use to determine how good a recruitment solutions agency is: take a look at the people who’ve decided to work there.

In the past six years Lee & Nightingale has doubled in size, and the quality of people we’ve found to fill all those vacancies speaks volumes about our ability to target, attract and retain the very best employees.

Account Management

Fiona Horton - National Client Services Director

Fiona Horton

Some of the best-known recruitment advertising agencies in the Northwest have had the pleasure of working with Fiona over the past ten years. With an impressive portfolio covering press, radio and television advertising, she has brought life to the recruitment strategies of clients as varied as Moneysupermarket.com, Comet, Abbey National, NTL, Stanley Casinos and Vernon's. Almost as passionate about client service as she is about water skiing, Fiona thinks nothing of driving the length of the country to meet clients face-to-face and resolve any issues they may have.

Rachael Jemison - Advertising Director

Rachael Jemison

In charge of both our Statutory and Recruitment Advertising Account Handling teams, our very own Imelda Marcos bears the huge responsibility of continuing a 150 year-long tradition of outstanding customer service. And it's a task she clearly relishes. Under Rachael’s direction, we currently handle around 100 recruitment advertisements and 120 statutory notices every single week, to a level of accuracy that many agencies simply could not hope to match. Loved almost as much by her clients as she is by the people she manages, Rachael has become something of a living legend at Lee & Nightingale. Just don't tell her we said so.

Sam Davis - Account Development Executive

Sam Davis

Tap dancing Sam initially joined us as a Recruitment Coordinator, but it wasn't long before her considerable talents were channelled into other areas of the business. Almost too energetic for her own good, she currently divides her time between developing recruitment strategies for our existing clients, and building relationships with potential clients of the future. Versatile, friendly and a genuine grafter, every agency would love to have a Sam Davis somewhere in its ranks.

Media

Rob Lambert - Media Manager

Rob Lambert

Keen golfer Rob first teed off his career with us in 2000 as a Recruitment Account Coordinator. Progressing in the role, he was seconded to the Account Management Department in 2002 and promoted to Media Manager six months later. It was a move which suited him down to the ground. Now an expert on every kind of media - from radio, press and TV to outdoor, guerilla marketing and online - Rob is relied on to produce targeted, cost effective media strategies for all our clients.

Recruitment Team

Stew Baker - Senior Artworker

Stew Baker

A lynch pin of the entire recruitment team, Stew joined us straight from College with an HNC in Multimedia six years ago. Today his in-depth knowledge of Quark and considerable skills on Photoshop and Illustrator are an invaluable resource for the team, who often rely on him for help and advice on all aspects of design. And when he’s not working at a computer with us, he can usually be found playing games on a console at home. A no-nonsense kind of guy, Stew is nevertheless a popular and well-respected member of the agency.

Kelly Strapp - Account Coordinator

Kelly Strapp

Self-confessed Harry Potterophile and Lee & Nightingale veteran of six years, Kelly's vast experience of recruitment advertising has made her an invaluable part of the agency. Effectively Rachael Jemison's 'right hand woman', she is relied on by all members of the team for advice and guidance on everything from media selection to proof reading.

Sarah Downey - Account Coordinator

Sarah Downey

Sarah's considerable administration experience in previous roles proved invaluable when she joined Lee & Nightingale three years ago as a Recruitment Account Coordinator. As you’d expect of a woman who spends her spare time handling chinese water dragons, Sarah’s not a girl to scare easily - which is fortunate because she handles a frighteningly wide variety of accounts. From the National Blood Service to Conwy County Borough Council, every one of Sarah’s clients knows they can rely on her to get the job done.

Steve McCulloch - Account Coordinator

Steve McCulloch

Style icon Steve may be one of our newest recruits, but he has already made a big impression. Coming to us armed with a degree in Media and Culture, he recognised the chance that Lee & Nightingale offered to take a solid first step on the media career ladder. Hardworking, enthusiastic and a great personality, Steve’s future in our agency must look as good as his wardrobe.
